Calling all mums, dads, grandparents and childminders - join us every Tuesday for some fresh air and exercise with your little ones!
The buggy walk takes place every Tuesday at 10am for 30 minutes in Hutton. To take part, make new friends and get to know your local area, meet at the Polo Field entrance along Boundary Drive.
It is part of Brentwood’s healthy walking scheme Health Trax, a FREE health walk programme that has been running for more than 14 years.
The scheme is run by volunteer walk leaders supported by Brentwood Borough Council and Walking for Health.
Health Trax provides safe walking routes around local parks and countryside led by trained volunteers.
Walking for Health, run by the Ramblers and Macmillan Cancer Support, is a nationwide movement dedicated to improving the nation’s health.
Walking counts towards the recommended 150 minutes of physical activity people should be doing each week.
Only 61 per cent of adults in England are currently meeting this recommendation, but walking offers a free and simple solution.
