Brentwood School’s enthusiastic orienteers are regrouping to discuss last weeks successful outing.
At this week’s O-Club meeting the students will evaluate last Sunday’s success at Langdon Hills.
Head of orienteering, Mrs Rachel Barford, praised the team on their weekend performance but warned them not to rest of their laurels.
She said: “Have a good look at the results, and at your map, and think your way through the course again,”
Standout results included Kate Bowie-Britton, Heather Trevelyan, and Sarah Prior who were second, third and fourth girls home on the orange 3km course.
Brentwood Preparatory School year six pupil, Jake Horton, had a brilliant time on the white 1.56km route even though he forgot to punch checkpoint number eight.
Sam Lee was second place on the Yellow course in a fantastic time of 28.51 and Janie Horton was third girl home in a time of 40.40.
The rest of the Brentwood pack came home with many similar times.
