Three people have been arrested and cash and suspected Class A drugs seized after officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Unit executed three warrants.
Acting on intelligence officers executed two warrants at Cranham Road, Little Waltham and a third at Outings Lane, Doddinghurst on Tuesday March 27.
In Little Waltham they arrested two men, aged 62 and 29, on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply.
They seized a quantity of what is believed to be Class A drugs and cash, some of which had been buried beneath a field.
At the property in Brentwood they seized a large haul of cash and arrested a 53-year-old woman on suspicion of money laundering.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We will always act on intelligence we receive about any form of criminality occurring in our communities.
"We continue to urge the public that where they have suspicions about criminal activity to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
All three people remain in police custody where they are being questioned.
