With all players scoring points, it was unchanged near the foot of the table. Writtle A saw off visitors Kingswood 8-2.

This latest defeat could be the nail in the coffin for Kingswood as they are rooted to the bottom of the division.

Brentwood A held Billericay A to a 5-5 draw. Trevor Carter (3) finally shaking off last season’s injuries to land a nice treble, Phil Purser (1) grabbed one win, butMary Nicholls was unable to score. The visitors shared the points around.

Runaway leaders Billericay Sports A beat second place Selex 7-3 in this top-ofthe- table clash. The Sports A stranglehold on the league this season looks like it cannot be broken.

First Division

A5-5 drawwas a fine result for the home side Bilericay C when visitors Billericay Sports C arrived as they are chasing promotion and the title. Gareth Davies (3) was on fine form for the home team.

Sports C stay 2nd, a couple of points off top spot.

Mountnessing A lost at home to fast improving Brentwood D 2-8. The visitors got into an early rhythm, led by Rick Paris (3) and Justin Davis (3) and with Michael Leonard enjoying the rare air of the winners’ enclosure for only the second time this season, it was a night to savour for the D squad.

Brentwood B’s win over Mountnessing B 6-4, meant that Brentwood teams did the double over Mountnessing. Billericay SportsDcontinued their fightbackup the tablewitha7-3 win over Brentwood Hard.

Second Divison

Mountnessing C lost 2-8 to Hutton A, who continue their run for promotion.

Hutton St Joseph beat Writtle B 8-2 and look well placed to win the division.
