WILLSON Joan Edna It is with heavy hearts we announce that our lovely Mum, Nan and Great Nanny lost her hard battle with Cancer. Her fight is over and she is finally at peace. Mum was loved so much, and will be missed dearly by all her wonderful family, her fantastic friends and everyone lucky enough to have known her. Her funeral will take place at Southend Crematorium on Friday the 7th August 2020 at 12 noon. Donations can be made in Joan's memory, to Havens Hospice c/o Tanners. 26 East Street, Southend. SS2 6LH.

On behalf of all us girls who had the pleasure of caring for Joan during her final illness will we miss her greatly. Joan fought her final battle with determination and incredible bravery. We were there for all the happy times, the laughter and through all the sad times and the tears. Joan used to love talking about her family, how much she loved her sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her world and she idolised them. We used to love sitting and listening to Joan talking about her time working for a local cab company arranging for under privileged children to enjoy a day out at the seaside every year. How she used to collect some of the big name stars of the 60's 70's and 80's from hotels to appear at charity performances in town. So Joan you touched so many lives and for that we are all incredibly grateful. Sleep tight angel, much love and fondest memories from all us girls xx
