PETER JOHN GOY Ex-Southend United goalkeeper and all round sportsman. Peter passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday, 11th April 2021 aged 82. A loving and dearly loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend to many. Due to current restrictions, Funeral Service at Southend Crematorium on Wednesday, 12 May 2021, is unfortunately by invitation only but Peter's final journey will slowly pass Thorpe Hall Golf Club at 9:40am for those who wish to pay their respects. Peter had a longstanding involvement with and had a passion for horse racing, therefore the ideal charity to benefit in his memory is the Injured Jockeys Fund and any donations to them would be greatly received.
