(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.14) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, previously advertised as The Essex County Council (Leinster Road, Basildon) (Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 105 Order 201*.
Effect of the order: To extend the existing 'No Waiting at any Time' restrictions on the following length of Leinster Road in the Borough of Basildon, NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 15 metres west of its junction with Markhams Chase, west for a distance of approximately 10 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile number TQ685 887 revision 0 to revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 28 August 2020.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Canewdon Road, Canewdon/Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Canewdon/ Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 315m west of its junction with Hyde Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005DL1W00000PTMS91471A- BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chelmsford Road, Rawreth & Rawreth Lane/Church Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 2395m south of its junction with A130 New Bypass Roundabout for a distance of approximately 140m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 1160m north of its junction with Carpenters Arms Roundabout for a distance of approximately 140m in a northerly direction.

3. To temporarily close that length of Rawreth Lane/Church Road in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 1045m northwest of its junction with Madrid Avenue for a distance of approximately 85m in a westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 16th September 2020 for 43 nights (19:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2297847 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Alternative routes are available via
1 & 2. A130 New Bypass Roundabout, Slip Road A130 southbound, New Bypass Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet, A1245 CanveyWay, Fairglen Interchange, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout and vice versa.
3. Church Road, London Road, Old London Road, A129 - London Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, Chelmsford Road, Fairglen Interchange, A127-Southend Arterial Road, Prince Avenue North, Prince Avenue and NestudaWay Roundabout, Prince Avenue North, Rochford Road, Southend Road, Southend Road Roundabout, Southend Road, Bradley Way, West Street, Ashingdon Road, Lower Road, Hullbridge Road, Rawreth Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Eastwood Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Eastwood Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with The Chase for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence between 15th September and 19th September for 2 nights (20:00 - 06:00) followed by 2 nights between 5th October and 10th October 2020 (20:00 - 06:00) and 2 more nights between 12th October and 16th October (20:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2298938 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while puffin crossing installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Eastwood Road, Rayleigh Road, Progress Road, Arterial Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A127 To A129 Westbound, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, High Road, Great Wheatley Road, High Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Louis Drive West, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Louis Drive West, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with London Road Service Road West for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2020 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZY039UKP6018/A-E S Pipelines Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains installation works are undertaken by E S Pipelines Ltd. An alternative route is available via Louis Drive, Leonard Drive, London Road Service Road West and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pitsea Bypass, Basildon & Vange Bypass, Stanford Le Hope) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Basildon & Vange Bypass, Stanford Le Hope in the Borough of Basildon, from the point the onslip from Broadway Link Roundabout joins A13 eastbound to the Thurrock Borough Council boundary, a distance of approximately 3420m in both directions.

2. To temporarily close the onslip from Broadway Link Roundabout (Pitsea) to A13 westbound a distance of approximately 295m.

3. To temporarily close the onslip from Five Bells Roundabout to A13 eastbound a distance of approximately 365m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th September 2020 for 2 nights (09:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2012299837 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while verge maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Nether Mayne, Five Bells Roundabout North, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Hospital Road, College Road, Roundacre New Roundabout, Roundacre, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, Churchill Avenue, Lincoln Road, South Mayne, Broadway Link Roundabout, Pitsea Bypass and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 75m north of its junction with Ramsden Park Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd September 2020 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SSV-27-14-030920 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Church Road, London Road, Castledon Road, School Road, Downham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hannett Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hannett Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Smallgains Avenue to its junction with Holbek Road, a distance of approximately 315m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2020 for 60 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000916438 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Smallgains Avenue, Henson Avenue, Holbek Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Temporary Introduction of No Right Turn Station Way/Fodderwick Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a no right hand turn from Fodderwick, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon into Southernhay, Basildon and from Station Way, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon into Southernhay, Basildon. The restrictions are scheduled to continue from 24th August 2020 or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153053407 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Basildon Town Centre improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Southernhay to the roundabout and back.
The Order came into effect on 24th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tye Common Road, Little Burstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tye Common Road, Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with Sudburys Farm Road to its junction with Botney Hill Road a distance of approximately 1050m.The Closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2297908 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage and vegetation removal works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Clock House Road, Laindon Common Road, Noak Hill Road, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Bell Hill Roundabout, Southend Road, Sun Street, London Road, Laindon Road, Tye Common Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 20th August 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping'' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th August 2020, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
