Notice Is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued In force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 19 October 2021 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 156, Bowers Gifford & North Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from a point where the footpath meets Church Road, north west for approximately 221 metres.
The closure commenced on 20/10/2020 and is applicable Monday to Fridays only from 8AM to 17:30PM or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to clear and improve the existing culvert tie into the gully are undertaken.
(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Canvey Road, Canvey Island Southbound only from the junction with Canvey Way Roundabout to the junction with Canvey Road Roundabout North.

2. To introduce a contra flow system on that length of Canvey Road, Canvey Island Northbound (Southbound traffic to travel on the Northbound carriageway) in the above length of road only.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25th March 2021, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
