A KINMEL Bay producer will return to her roots with a fantastically witty take on the Brothers Grimm classic Rapunzel this month.

Rochelle Parry, executive producer of Immersion Theatre, will accompany the multi-award nominated troupe to North Wales to bring the upcoming production home for the first time.

A former member of Theatre in the Community (TiC), Parry's a role in the show puts her in the lofty company of Emmy award winning phenomenon Friends' creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman who wrote Immersion Theatre's 2016 reimagining of the fairy tale.

Parry said: “Having performed at the Pavilion a number of times when I was younger, I’m thrilled to now be on the other side of the stage and hopefully help to create the same kind of happy memories for the younger audience members as I was able to experience.”

Told in the company’s trademark witty, tongue-in-cheek style, Rapunzel has been updated with a laugh out loud script, a host of catchy songs brought together by the exciting array of magical characters including a wickedly boo-able witch, a clumsy Prince, and a feisty Princess with the longest hair you’re ever likely to come across

To help share that experience, the pantomimic production will feature heaps of audience interaction - as well as chance to meet the cast after the show.

With magic and mayhem throughout and a chance to meet the characters after the show, this is one hair-raising adventure the family won’t want to miss!

So let your hair down and get entangled in this family favourite on Thursday, February 20 at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £14 for adults and £10 for children. To book, call the box office on 01745 33 00 00 or book online at rhylpavilion.co.uk.
