Have a go at parkrun in Weald
BRENTWOOD is the latest Essex town to have a parkrun.
The 5km race against the clock takes place at Weald Country Park, from 9am every Saturday morning.
It was launched last week with Tom Beedell achieving the honour to be the first person home in 17m 5s.
The event is open to everyone and is free to take part. Simply log on to parkrun.org.uk/brentwood and print out a barcode which you present to officials at the finish.
