DRIVERS passing Brentwood were delayed on Monday, after the A127 was closed due to a road accident.
Police were called to a collision between a red Vauxhall Astra and a lorry, on the London-bound carriageway of the A127, just before the M25 junction.
The accident happend at around 8.20am on Febrary 12.
As a result of the collision, the Vauxhall Astra, which was driven by a 42-year-old man from Basildon, crossed into the Southend-bound carriageway of the A127.
The road was closed for around ten minutes while both vehicles were moved to the side of the road, to allow the drivers to exchange details.
There were no injuries and both vehicles were able to drive away from the incident.
