Brentwood Borough Council are asking residents and businesses to let them know what they think the council’s priorities should be over the next few years as they launch their ‘Vision for Brentwood’ consultation.
The ‘Vision for Brentwood’ plan will focus on the Council’s top priorities and will highlight how it will tackle the challenges facing the Brentwood Borough over the next three years.
The Leader of the Council, councillor Louise McKinlay, said: “We are holding this consultation because we want to find out what council services are important to people and what they think our priorities should be.
"It is important for the council to have a plan in place to underpin the strategic direction and planned approach to delivering progress against our vision for the Council and the Borough.
"Our current Corporate Plan expires next year so we are keen to put together a new plan for the next three years.
The ‘Vision for Brentwood’ plan will of course be based on the promises we made ahead of the May elections but it is much more than just an election manifesto.
"As local government continues to change and we face new and ever growing challenges, it is important that we are preparing ourselves as best we can so as to continue to deliver quality services that matter to our residents.
"To do this, we need your views and ideas and to find out what services are important to you.
"There will be different opportunities for you to comment and put forward your views and I do hope you will take part in this over the coming weeks”.

The Consultation ends on 25 August 2015.
