BIG B Patel bludgeoned Woodham Mortimer to help seal Navestock and Ardleigh Green 1s their biggest ever win.

NAG 1 were wobbling at 91-5 when  B struck up a memorable partnership with classy veteran Keith Abbott (17). 

B scored a superb 122 to get NAG 1 to 234 for 6 off their 45 overs.
Woodham Mortimer 2 never really got going thanks to some outstanding bowling from

Tom Greaves, who bagged 5 for 26, and Will Archer (3 for 4). Mortimer 2 were rolled out for just 83, securing NAG 1 a memorable 151-run win.

NAG1 vice captain Matt Simmons said: “Big B’s innings was one of the most enjoyable knocks I’ve witnessed. It was great seeing him hit 6s for fun.”
