Man 'drove wrong way' down A127
A BRENTWOOD man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after driving the wrong way on the A127.
A silver Volkswagen Scirocco entered onto the A127 Londonbound at the A1245 at 2.10am on November 12.
The car then did a u-turn and drove towards Southend while still on the London-bound carriageway, passing eight vehicles.
The car was then abandoned in Coniston Road in Benfleet.
A 27 year-old man from Brentwood was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Police want to speak to any of the drivers the vehicle passed on the A127.
