Man charged after crash results in serious injuries for two motorcyclists
A man has been charged with a number of offences following a collision in Brentwood on New Year’s Day.
Two motorcyclists, both men aged in their 20s, suffered serious injuries after a collision involving a black Vauxhall Astra on Nags Head Lane at 2.40pm.
Robert Clarke, 26, of Wigton Road, Romford has been charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, failing to stop after a collision, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with the terms of his licence.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on the morning of April 19, 2018.
