Tributes have been paid to a father who died following a car crash in Brentwood.
Emergency services were called to London Road shortly after 9.10pm on Friday, March 16 with reports that a silver Mercedes had collided with a pedestrian.
Sadly, despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, the pedestrian died at the scene.
We are now in a position to identify the man as Terrance Oliver, 61, from Rotherham.
In a statement, his family paid tribute: “Terrance was a kind and generous man loved by his family.
“We trust that people will respect our privacy in this time of grief.”
Witnesses or anyone who captured dash cam footage are asked to contact Dc Jenny Pirie at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01245 240590 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
