Man in court after a taxi driver was robbed at knife point in Brentwood
A man is due in court after a taxi driver was robbed at knife point.
Jay Cotterill, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with possession of a knife, robbery and actual bodily harm and he is due in Basildon Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, October 25.
It follows an incident in which a taxi driver was robbed in King Edward Road, Brentwood, on October 6.
A 57-year-old man from Brentwood arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released on bail until November 19, pending further enquiries.
