HELP South Essex Wildlife Hospital to win £50,000 courtesy of an insurance brokers.

The animal charity based in Orsett, which helps sick animals from across south Essex, is hoping to expand and needs the money to do so.

Manager Sue Schwar said: “The hospital is at full capacity. Everywhere is busier and there is more conflict between wildlife and people. We now have a greater need to maximise our facilities and create additional accommodation.”

The money is available to one charity depending on the votes received.

If the hospital wins the number of animals the hospital can help will increase with more accommodation, a suitable quarantine area and an upgrade to the aviary.

Every donation made on Nov 27 via Pay Pal, Pay Pal will match the donation up to a value of £50,000.

Sue added: “It would be an honour and I would be incredibly grateful if we received the grant. We would really appreciate the help for the animals, meaning we can improve the facilities we’ve got and the number we can help.”
