WRAP up warm this weekend and enjoy an outdoor walk or two,
Today will bring the chance to go on a wild winter walk around Priory Park in Southend.
The event will take place from 1.30pm-3pm and will see youngsters and their parents joining Southend Library staff for a ‘Wild and Wintery Treasure Hunt Walk and Stories’.
Fancy Dress is optional but always encouraged if you want to go as your favourite wild creation. Witches, fairies, pirates, superheroes and dragons all welcome but best to include their wellies!

Today will also see an autumn birdwatching walk taking place at Belfairs Woods in Leigh.
The event will be on from 10am-1pm and will see the Belfair’s Woodland Centre’s ranger Tristan guiding a stroll around the beauty spot to look for a variety of bird
No experience necessary but don’t forget to bring a pair of binoculars!
The walk is ideal for those aged 11 and over. Tickets are £7 per person and can be booked via 01702 477467.
