POLICE are at the scene of crash involving a school bus in Selby Road, Monk Fryston.

North Yorkshire Police said that they were called at 3.30pm to a report of a collision involving a lorry and a school bus.

Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Please avoid the area while emergency services work at the scene of the collision.

"The roads around Monk Fryston are extremely busy, and motorists should make alternative arrangements for their journeys."
