A WOMAN was left shaken after being robbed in the street.
The victim, who is in her 40s, was approached by a man in New Town Road, Colchester.
He demanded she hand over money, which she did, and the robber then fled in the direction of nearby Wimpole Road and got away with a two-figure sum of cash.
The woman was not hurt.
The man has been described as white, of average build, and around 6ft tall.
He wore black jogging bottoms, a black hooded top and a bobble hat.
He is believed to be aged in his 30s.
The incident happened at 6.10pm on Sunday, December 16.
