Part of Bridge Street will be closed tonight and tomorrow night
Part of a main road in Witham will be closed tonight.
Essex Highways will be closing off a section of Bridge Street at 8pm tonight to allow workman to start resurfacing.
The section, which runs between Spinks Lane and Mill Lane will reopen at 6am tomorrow morning.
The road will also be shut overnight on Saturday.
A Highways spokesman said: "Carriageway resurfacing will usually involve planing off all or some of the existing surface and removal of material from this site.
"The planed area will have the manholes and gullies adjusted and replaced if required."
Diversions will be in place.
