Thief who stole garage door is fined
A THIEF who stole a garage door has been slapped with a fine.
Thomas Holbard, 32, admitted to snatching the £800 item from a property in Dunmow in July last year during a hearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
Holbard, of Michaels Road, Bishop Stortford, was fined £173 for the theft.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
