A CRASH closed a road outside a York army barracks.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash between a car and a cyclist happened close to the entry of Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Strensall at about midday on Sunday.
Paramedics were also called to the scene, and the cyclist was taken to hospital.
The extent of his injuries could not be confirmed by police, but he is understood to have suffered cuts to his legs.
The road reopened just before 1pm.
