A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of sexual grooming after a paedophile hunter group live streamed a video of a sting has been released under investigation.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "A 26 year-old man was arrested near to Freeport in Braintree on suspicion of sexual grooming at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 22.

"He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."

The arrest was made shortly after the Justice For The Innocent group approached a man in Braintree during a sting which was live streamed on Facebook.

The group posted three separate videos of the sting and subsequent arrest which have been viewed more than 46,000 times in total.
