OFFICERS have appealed for help to find a missing man after a "thorough investigation" yielded no leads.

Tony Morris, 56, from Jaywick, has not been seen since May 6.

Essex Police launched an investigation after he was reported missing on June 6.

A spokesman confirmed officers have exhausted all lines of enquiry in the hunt for Tony.

"Our officers have carried out a thorough investigation and have exhausted all lines of enquiry which is why we’re now asking for your help," he said.

"He is described as white, slim, 5ft 10ins tall, with short mousey-coloured hair and a beard."

Tony has access to a silver Renault Kangoo, with the registration plate AC08 BDU.

He is also known to be a keen walker, sometimes trekking more than 20 miles in a day.

The missing man may be wearing jeans or cord trousers, a polo shirt with a pullover and walking boots.

He has reading glasses, but does not wear them at all times.

Anyone with information about Tony's whereabouts is asked to contact Essex Police on 101 quoting incident 1142 of June 7.
