IT used to be the case that your biggest dilemma ordering nuggets at McDonald's was whether to order six or the 20-piece share box.

But now chicken nugget fans have got a new decision to make as the fast food chain is about to sell spicy chicken nuggets for the first time.

According to national reports, the Spicy McNuggets have already been trialled in the US and Asia while Australians have them on their menu permanently.

The UK version will be a new, specially-developed recipe and come with a Tabasco-based dip for those that can handle the heat.

When can I try them?

For those that fancy giving them a go, they will be available from 10.30am on Wednesday, August 7.

But if you decide you're a fan of the fiery version, you've only got seven weeks to enjoy them as they're only on the menu for a temporary basis.

They are expected to cost £3.19 for six, £3.49 for nine or £4.99 for 20.

Around 1,000 festivalgoers at Y Not in Derbyshire have already given them a try after McDonald's food vans pitched up to hand out samples.
