A MAN has been charged and appeared in court following an alleged assault outside a bar in Bournemouth.
A Bournemouth man aged in his 20s suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone, among other facial injuries, in the alleged attack outside Bar So in Exeter Road on Saturday, April 20.
The victim also had a bleed to the brain and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
Police were called to reports of an assault at 11.10pm.
Following enquiries by detectives, a 19-year-old man was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, July 27. He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, August 29.
