GREAT Notley Country Park has once again received international recognition.
The beauty spot is one of seven across Essex to secure a prestigious Green Flag award.
The award recognises the world’s top green spaces and parks with the highest environmental standards.
Run by Essex County Council, Great Notley Country Park has now won Green Flag awards several times.
Other parks in Essex to win Green Flags include Danbury, Belhus Woods, at Aveley, and Cudmore Grove on Mersea Island.
County Hall environment boss Simon Walsh said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive a Green Flag award for all our country parks.
“We know how much quality green spaces matter to residents and visitors, and this award celebrates the dedication of our staff and rangers who help maintain these green spaces to such a high standard.”
