TEENAGERS have created a giant salmon sculpture made up of dumped plastic to raise concerns about climate change.

The fish - nicknamed Trevor - is three metres long and on display at Culver Square in Colchester town centre until September 20.

The SillySalmons came up with the idea for the artwork and are a group of 14 teens led by two team leaders from the National Citizen Service Group run by charity Catch 22.

During the summer they spent four weeks together which included a social action project where they focused on plastic pollution in the oceans.

Trevor is made up of rubbish collected from around the area and tips on how to be more environmentally friendly are attached to him.
