A FLOOD warning is now in effect for Shoebury.
The governments Flood Information Service issued a warning this afternoon, stating that flooding is possible, so be prepared.
Flooding will be possible on coastal paths and roads, from 1.45am until 3.45am.
A spokesperson from the service, said: "This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to coastal roads and footpaths between 01:45am and 03:45am on Wednesday 02 October 2019.
"Tides are higher than usual due to high spring tides and a small surge. Tide levels will be high at Battlesbridge, and Hullbridge riversides.
"Take care on coastal roads and footpaths and don't put yourself at risk.
"We will monitor the situation and will reissue this message for subsequent tides if required."
