THIS little seal certainly made himself at home on Canvey.
The cute cub was pictured by resident Les Stone, 61, on Friday. It is pictured by the Island yacht club off Point Road.
Jenny Stone, Les’s daughter, told the Echo how her dad has an eye for spotting seals, and see them quite often.
She said: “He has a boat which he takes around the Canvey coast.
“This is not the first time he’s seen a seal near there. He sees them quite a lot.
“They’re a large family which are often in and around the sandbanks.
“This one just floated in with the tide!
“That’s how it got up onto the boardwalk.
“The tide would have moved it off again.
“It’s really nice to see a seal that close to people and boats.”
