BURGLARS smashed through a gift shop window and grabbed the till.
The crooks were caught on CCTV breaking into Maison Mollie Coffee and Gift Shop in Station Road, Wivenhoe.
Footage shows a man in a light hooded jacket and black gloves smash through the window and grab the till off the counter. He passes the till to someone else standing outside.
Thankfully the till was empty as the money is removed every night.
Crawford Stirling, who owns the business with his wife, Jill, said: “It happened at about 3.40am on Friday. I had a phone call from a friend in Wivenhoe at about 7.30am.
“We think there were two men. They smashed the window and jumped through and grabbed the till.
“They were in and out in ten seconds.”
Call police on 101 with information.
