A New York-based fashion house is the latest brand to announce it will be setting up a store in a popular shopping outlet.
Kate Spade New York plans to open its first shop in Essex next spring when it moves to Braintree Village.
The store will be located next to the Polo Ralph Lauren shop, which was due to open for the first time yesterday (Wednesday, November 27).
Since its launch in 1993 with a collection of six essential handbags, Kate Spade New York has looked to represent "optimistic femininity".
The brand's new Braintree shop will offer a range of handbags, ready-to-wear, jewellery, footwear, gifts, home décor and more.
Commenting on the new arrival, Braintree Village's Centre Manager Josef O'Sullivan said: “We always want to ensure we deliver the very best experience for our guests, and so we pride ourselves in offering high quality brands at amazing prices.
"Kate Spade New York complements the village’s strong mix of designer names, offering the savvy shopper something new and desirable at a great price.”
Recruitment for the new store team is now open.
