Part of Weymouth train station was cordoned off after a car crash.
A Renault ZOE was lodged on a sloping wall early yesterday morning.
It is not yet known what caused the crash.
Cordons were placed around the vehicle whilst the incident was dealt with.
Meanwhile police officers stood by the vehicle until it was recovered.
Raymond Smy, who works at Bon Bon newsagents, said: "I opened up at 7am and I think it was about there then.
"I've got no idea how it happened. It's a steep bit of wall, so it's quite impressive.
"It has been a big talking point this morning."
A resident who didn't want to be named said: "The police were there this morning, they said it was an accident.
"The car didn't look that badly damaged."
The vehicle has since been removed.
