There are major delays on the A12 following multiple crashes near Witham.
Drivers are being held at junction 19 Boreham after a crash involving six vehicles around 7.15pm.
There has also been a crash on the exit slip road (junction 21) at Witham involving two vehicles around 6.35pm.
The road has been closed while a vehicle awaits recovery.
The A12 Northbound was reopened earlier this evening after an accident involving three vehicles between junction 21 and junction 22, but major delays continue.
Queues are reportedly seven miles long and Police are reportedly at the scene.
