A POPULAR street art festival is to return to Glasgow’s SWG3 venue this Summer.
The two-day Yardworks event, which attracted more than 10,000 visitors in 2019, will be held on May 16 and 17.
For the first time the event will stretch beyond SWG3 taking in the 27 railway arches on the Clydeside.

More than 100 street artists are taking part including established names from Spain, France, Ireland, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Germany, who will together transform over 1000 metres of wall space.
This year’s event will feature an outdoor food and drink village, a Montana Paint store, a multi-disciplinary arts wall for kids, a skateboarding zone from Clan Skates and a BMX show hosted by The Loading Bay.
Also running throughout the event for the first time will be an additional programme of lectures and talks curated by Festival Founder, Gaz Mac.

Mutley, SWG3 founder and director, said, “For a city that hinges so much on it’s art and culture, Yardworks is an important event for Glasgow and we are really proud to bring it back again for 2020.
“The event is always well attended thanks to the spectacular murals that come to life right before your eyes over the course of the weekend.”
Entry to the event is £5.00, while children U16 and local residents go free. Join the event on Facebook for all the latest news and updates, or visit: www.swg3.tv
