Wanted man - goalkeeper Ted Smith
TED Smith is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been training with Southend United since being released by the Shrimpers at the end of last season.
And, after Nathan Bishop's switch to Manchester United, Blues are keen to hand the shot-stopper another deal at Roots Hall.
However, Tottenham are now keen on signing Smith.
The shot-stopper, who came through the ranks with Blues, was also on trial with Tottenham during pre-season.
