SOUTHEND United striker Stephen Humphrys will undergo surgery on his broken nose.
Humphrys - who also broke 15 bones in his face at Accrington Stanley last February - suffered another whack to the face at Doncaster Rovers at the end of December.
But Blues Sol Campbell is hopeful the forward will not spend too long on the sidelines.
"He’s fractured his nose and he needs to reorganise that," said Campbell.
"It shouldn’t be too long as there’s no trouble around the eye-socket.
"It’s a simple nose operation to get it all neat and tidy again.
"It shouldn’t be too long, a couple of weeks maximum really."
