FAMILIES of sick and premature babies are getting the chance to make special memories, thanks to a creative initiative at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital.

The‘Little Inky Feet’ project, which is funded by Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, offers each family the chance to capture their child’s first footprints for pictures, cards, jewellery or maybe even a tattoo at a later date.

So far, more than 100 families have taken up the offer including Louise Colella, 29 (pictured) and her baby Anna, who was born 10 weeks early on August 2.

Louise said: “It’s been great to look back at her original footprints and be reminded of how far she has come.”
