SOUTHEND Manor could move as high as 13th in the Essex Senior League standings when they do battle with Ilford tomorrow.

Manor climbed up to 16th spot thanks to their narrow 1-0 win over Hoddesdon Town last weekend, which came courtesy of a second half Ruben Kennedy strike.

And Craig Waters’ side will be looking to build on their impressive start to 2020 when they head to Cricklefield Stadium to face Ilford, who currently occupy 13th place.

Manor have suffered just one defeat since the turn of the year and are unbeaten in their last two outings.

And Ilford have lost 11 of their 19 home clashes in all competitions.
