POLICE are concerned there are drivers ignoring road works and moving barriers in Meysey Hampton.
Barriers in High Street have been placed on the road to protect pedestrians from injuring themselves on potholes.
On a recent post in Fairford GL7 community Facebook page, Sergeant Andy Wood wrote: "Apparently, motorists are close to coming to blows with each other.
"Signs in place are there to be obeyed.
"Anyone found moving such items, thereby causing a danger to others, are committing an offence"
The offence carries a maximum of 7 years in prison.
Officers have been dispatched to the area to determine what is causing these issues.
