Keith Flint's £1.4mllion home has sold almost a year after his death.

The Prodigy star was found dead, aged 49 at the Grade II listed house in North End last March.

Just days before his death the 15th century rustic estate was put up for sale through Andersons estate agents, based in Dunmow.

The property was taken off the market whilst the financial affairs were put in order.

It went back up for sale five months later and is now under offer.

In November, the singers belongings were sold for nearly £350,000 during an auction to help settle the liabilities of his estate.

A total of 170 items, including a custom-made gothic oak and steel bed, supported at each corner by entwined thorns and is access via steps, sold for £8,500.

Gazette:

A collection of his body jewellery, including a distinctive nose piercing, went for £2,200.

The most expensive proved to be his three 'Moonmen' MTV award which sold for £16,000.

The final total raised came to £347,750.

An inquest into his death revealed that Mr Flint died from hanging and also found traces of cocaine, codeine and alcohol in his system but there wasn't sufficient evidence to confirm that the star intended to take his own life.

Senior Coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray recorded an open conclusion.
