A man has been charged with drugs offences after officers responded to reports of a strong smell of cannabis coming from a house in Colchester.
They carried out a search at the address in Ipswich Road on Sunday March 22 and seized suspected drugs and a large quantity of cash.
Nathan Barber, 27, of Ipswich Road, Colchester, has been charged with possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid.
He was also charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, and acquiring, possessing or using criminal property.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday April 20.
