AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Matthew Brian Archer.
The body of Mr Archer, aged 36, of Fulwood Avenue, Bournemouth, was discovered in his room at the Laguna Hotel, Suffolk Road, Bournemouth.
A steel erector by profession, Mr Archer died on July 24 this year.
On Thursday (July 30) at Dorset Coroner's Court, Bournemouth Town Hall, a short hearing was held.
Coroner Brendan Allen heard evidence from coroner's officer Nigel Underwood.
Mr Underwood told the court a post mortem examination confirmed the cause of death as hanging.
The inquest was adjourned for a review hearing scheduled for November 4, this year
