Welcome back to Bygones and this week we go a little bit further back into 1982 to the month of July.
Despite it being summer, umbrellas were up at Cae Glas Park as spectators listened to music being played at the bandstand – do you have any idea who might be playing?
The sun was out however in Pant, with a large group of people enjoying snacks and drinks on offer at the annual Pant Fete.
On the bottom right of the page there is a large group enjoying an outdoor banquet – do you recognise any of them?
And in the bottom left photo we have a group of teachers taking on pupils in a tug of war.
