A COLCHESTER man has been fined more than £700 after assaulting an emergency worker.
Graeme Michael Purdy, 43, of Langdale Drive, Highwoods, has assaulted a female police officer by beating.
The offence took place last May 9 in Colchester.
Appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court, Purdy admitted to the offence and was fined £750.
He must also pay costs of £105 and a victim surcharge of £34.
