The HARP 24-hour relay challenge took place in Southend from yesterday until this morning.
The running festival at Cherry Orchard Country Park saw solo runners and teams take part to raise money for the Southend based charity HARP.
The organisation helps to reduce homelessness by providing essential services, emergency housing and long term solutions. The run started yesterday at midday and finished today at 12pm.
Runners have to do as many laps of the five mile route around the country park and next to the River Roach.
Last nights storm forced the runners to stop at 10pm.
The event kicked off again at 5am this morning after the seven-hour delay.
