EMERGENCY services are currently on the scene of a serious collision and have subsequently closed the road.
Essex Police has confirmed that a serious collision has taken place in Doddinghurst Road, Brentwood.
The road is currently closed to allow emergency services to respond to the incident.
Traffic control originally reported the incident at 8.52pm.
It said: "Road blocked due to a crash on Doddinghurst Road both ways between Hatch Road and Elizabeth Road."
