EMERGENCY services are currently on the scene of an A12 Northbound incident which has led to a lane closure and lengthy delays for motorists.
Traffic control has reported that Essex Police is currently working with Essex County Fire and Rescue members on the A12 northbound between the M25 junction 28 Brook Street, and the A1023 Brentwood.
This is due to a collision in the area which was first reported earlier today at 5.45pm.
The whole area was previously closed-off but now only one lane remains closed.
Motorists are experiencing delays of 30 minutes and there is three miles worth of congestion.
Essex Police and Essex County Fire and Rescue have both been contacted for a comment on the incident.
